• Primate paleontology, paleoanthropology, paleodemography, zooarcheology, primate systematics, Indonesian rainforest ecology and conservation. Current research involves reconnaissance, and paleodemographic/faunal analysis of Sumatran Pleistocene archeological localities.
• History of Physical Anthropology.
