Welcome to our Web site. We are dedicated to honoring the ancestry of Hom Kun Foo, who settled at Tung Wo, 310 First Street, Marysville, California, during the Gold Rush. Hom Kun Foo came to California in 1851 to join the Gold Rush when he was 13 years old. After striking it rich in the mountains, he settled in Marysville and opened the Tung Wo store at 310 First Street (building still standing). He became one of the leading merchants in Marysville Chinatown. He married Lee Shee in 1885 and had 9 children. Find out how you are related to one of California's earliest pioneers.
