Attendance At Lecture Each student is responsible for material presented and announcements made in the class. Quizzes and exams will definitely include information presented in class that is not available from the text. There will be quizzes frequently. Non-attendance for a quiz results in a zero. At Lab It is mandatory. There are assignments due about once per week. You will turn in these assignments on the date due. However, if there are any questions about your work, you will be asked about it during lab period. If you are not present in lab to answer questions and demonstrate your programs, then the assignments will be considered late, with corresponding loss of points. For those of you who have access to computers away from campus, as long as you turn in all assignments on time, there may be times when you will be permitted to leave without penalty once you have turned in the lab assignment for that week, provided that I do not intend to lecture during that lab period. However, you must be present to answer questions and demonstrate your program and to work on team projects. Therefore, it will be your responsibility to look over your returned assignments to determine if additional information is required.
