About Sacramento State College Corps Program
The Sacramento State College Corps (SSCC) Program
The Sacramento State College Corps program is where full-time (12 or more units), undergraduate students are connected with local nonprofits and agencies to help community efforts, learn new skills, network, and find out what working in their future career fields might feel like. This program is part of a bigger effort by California Volunteers to encourage students to:
- Help with important projects in education, food distribution, health, community and environmental partnerships.
- Succeed in school and prepare for their future careers.
- Work with local agencies and non-profits to alleviate local issues.
