About Registration
Registration Information
Students with a valid SacLink account may register, pay fees and add/drop classes in their Student Center through My Sac State.
SacLink accounts are free to eligible students. If you do not have an account, please click the link below to sign up.
Prepare for Registration
The initial Spring 2026 registration for continuing students is from November 17 to December 23. Registration will close December 24 and reopen on January 2 through January 25.
Follow the steps below to prepare for registration:
- Clear any registration holds on your account. It can take several days and may require you to contact multiple departments, so please check now.
- Pay any outstanding charges. Your account must be paid in full to enroll for a future term. Contact the Bursar's office for charges or payments questions.
- Plan your class schedule. Review your Academic Requirements page. Identify the courses you need to complete your degree. Use the Sac State Scheduler (PDF) to plan your classes.
- Meet with your Advisor. Your assigned advisors are listed on your Student Center. For GE advising, refer to the Academic Advising Center. For Major advising, refer to the academic department of your major.
- Follow up after registering. Double-check your class schedule for accuracy and your registration fee due date.
CSU Fully-Online Courses
- Student may enroll in one CSU fully-online course if they are:
- In Good Academic Standing, have completed at least 12 units at Sac State, paid tuition and fees as a “full-time” student, are enrolled in more than 6 units.
- You may only enroll in semester-based campus courses. You may not enroll in courses that are quarter system.
- Student may view available courses by visiting CSU Fully Online.
- Once a course is found:
- Take an online learning readiness assessment.
- Enroll through the Student Center no later than the date shown for the campus offering the course.
