Tasks:

  • Read Chapter 9 in Joyce and Weil;
  • Form groups (we want one group of five and three groups of six);
  • Collaborate online;
  • Develop a lesson plan that features the Concept Attainment model presented in Joyce and Weil;
  • Identify the context in which the Concept Attainment lesson will be done;
  • Locate and cite at least two references to Concept Attainment other than the text; and
  • Be prepared to present the Concept Attainment lesson in the next F2F using a tool format with which your group is comfortable.  You will be given 20 minutes with a 5 minute Q&A.
