Teaching Pairs Mentoring Program
Teaching Pairs is a peer partnership program that connects faculty across disciplines to learn from each other's teaching. Through reciprocal classroom visits and reflective conversations, partners gain fresh perspectives, share practical strategies, and build a supportive community focused on growth rather than evaluation.
In this program, you will be paired up with a colleague to exchange classroom visits and discuss meaningful and creative ways to enhance your teaching and pedagogy. Regardless of your discipline, you can learn from one another on aspects of teaching such as organization of class time, rapport with students, teaching approaches, creativity, or embedding of a social justice framework within a course.
Based on your interests, we will match you with a fellow faculty member and provide guidelines to get your partnership started. The CTLFS will provide strategies to offer feedback including Mid-Term Assessment Protocols (MAPs), ethnographic observations of teaching, and observe and analyze protocols, among others.
