About the Office of Faculty Advancement
The Office of Faculty Advancement is responsible for recruiting and retaining a diverse faculty of talented educators, and serving them across their entire career span at California State University, Sacramento.
As the campus resource for the policies and programs governing instructional faculty, coaches, counselors, and librarians, we oversee faculty hiring committee training and support, temporary faculty hiring support, orientation of new faculty, department chair appointments and stipends, department chair development, labor relations matters, sabbaticals, compensation programs, faculty early retirement program (FERP), and interpretation and implementation of the Unit 3 collective bargaining agreement and University ARTP Policy.
