  • Receipt is limited to once every two years.
  • The loan must be repaid within 90 days of the date of receipt, unless an extension is provided in writing by the Provost.

Application and Selection Process:

To apply for the loan, applicants must:

  • Complete and submit the online application found here. Applications may be submitted at any time.
  • Provide as much detail as possible when completing the application and attach supporting documentation for the financial need/hardship. The type of documents will vary depending on individual circumstances but should confirm that you have a financial hardship/need AND verify the amount of money you are requesting (e.g., a utility bill or invoice). Sensitive personal information should be redacted or blacked out (e.g., social security numbers, patient IDs, account numbers, etc.) on your supporting documents.
  • Include information about the amount of loan needed and how the loan will be repaid within 90 days of receipt.

The Vice Provost for Faculty Success and/or the Director of Academic Resources will review and approve requests from faculty in the order they are received. Applicants will be notified by email of the decision within seven working days of application submission.
