Demystifying Tenure
Demystifying Tenure is a yearlong learning community that helps early-career faculty and academic professionals navigate the tenure process at Sacramento State. Through focused conversation, shared learning, and individual goal-setting, participants develop practical strategies and build community with colleagues.
The program welcomes probationary faculty, counselors, athletic coaches, and librarians in their first through fourth year at Sacramento State. Participants from previous years are also welcome to return. Program materials are designed to be accessible and meaningful to all participants, while discussions recognize how intersecting identities may shape professional experiences and pathways toward tenure.
