Auditing and Consulting Services offers several training opportunitiies for the staff and faculty on our campus. Our training catalog is ever-growing, and we look forward to offering more opportunities in the future. Audit 101

Audit 101 - What to Expect When You're Expecting...an Audit!

Audit 101 prepares you for what to expect during an impending audit on our campus. This training provides an overview of the CSU audit process, audit timelines, and offers a comprehensive roadmap for navigating the various stages of an audit. This training is interactive, and attendees are encouraged to ask questions and engage with the group. This 1.5 hour training provides the opportunity to discuss auditing-specific concerns pertaining to the attendees specific campus areas.

Student Fee Stewardship

Student Fee Stewardship - Guardians of the Fee

Student Fee Stewardship Training is for any department that are the recipients of student fee revenue. This 1.5 hour, specialized training, guides you on how properly govern your department's fee(s), the appropriate use of fee revenue and expenditures as stipulated by your fee's specification sheet, a list of deadlines for fee-related matters, and a process walk-through for making changes to your fee(s).

Attendees for this training are asked to come prepared with their student fee(s) specification sheets. If you do not have your fee specification sheets, please email Auditing and Consulting Serviceswith your name, department name, and your fee's chartstring(s) and we will provide a copy to you.

Public Records Act (PRA) Training

The University's records may be disclosable under a variety of types of requests - sometimes, with only a matter of days to provide them. This training shows the campus community what we are required to do when various types of requests come in for records maintained throughout departments campus-wide, and the role of the Public Records Coordinator with the request processes.
