Mobile Ticketing

How to purchase tickets to events

  • Online

  • In person
    In advance at Hornet Tickets office in the Athletic Center 10am-4pm M-F. At events, subject to availability, hours vary from 30-60 minutes in advance for most events, 4 hours before football games.

Ticket Delivery Methods

All tickets have a $2 added fee regardless of delivery method.
  • Mobile Delivery - No additional fees
    • Must use either Apple Wallet or Google Wallet to download tickets
  • Will Call - additional $2 per order
  • Mail - additional $5 per order (if more than 10 days before event)

PLEASE NOTE: We do not offer any print-at-home tickets at this time.

Student/Faculty/Staff Account Setup

All Sacramento State students, faculty and staff have an account made for them that needs to be registered with their student ID number.

  • To get started, access our ticketing site here.

  • On your first visit, click Register

    • Enter your Student ID number or Employee ID number and click Activate
      (if on a desktop, clicking Enter does not work, you must click Activate)

    • Confirm your contact info, set a password, and complete account setup

**When returning to purchase or claim tickets, always start at the "Student Tickets" link to access OneCard holder discount offers, even if you're faculty/staff**

FREE TICKETS/DISCOUNTS for Students, Faculty & Staff

All free Sacramento State athletic tickets must be claimed through our new ticketing system.

Once you've registered (see above section), claim your free/discounted tickets here.

  • If you haven't already, please login
    • To access the discounted tickets, you must login with the account created when registering with your student/employee ID number
  • Select "STUDENT TICKETS" (Even Faculty/Staff will go to this link!)
  • Select game/event and follow prompts to complete transaction

Hot Tips:

  • Select "Student Guest Offer" to purchase up to 4 discounted guest passes per football game ($10 each)
  • If students are entering separately from their guests, tickets may be transferred (see Transfer Tickets section below)

Digital Ticket Download Instructions

  1. To locate your digital ticket, please SIGN IN here
  2. Tap the 3 horizontal lines to open the menu
  3. Tap “My Account”
  4. Tap the ticket you’re adding under “My Upcoming Events”
  5. Tap the icon for the digital wallet associated with your phone’s operating system
  6. Add to digital wallet (usually takes a few screens)
  7. Present QR code in wallet at event to enter

Ticket Transfer Instructions

Instructions to initiate a transfer:
  1. To locate your digital ticket, please SIGN IN here
  2. Tap the 3 horizontal lines to open the menu
  3. Tap “My Account”
  4. Select “Transfer Tickets”
  5. Tap the Event with the tickets you're going to transfer
  6. Click the box next to the ticket(s) you're transferring
  7. Enter the Mobile Number for the person you're transferring to, or click "Use Email Instead" at the bottom to send via email.
  8. Review Information and click "Transfer (#) Ticket"

Instructions to accept a transfer:

  1. Locate the Email or Text Message that reads "[Name of sender] wants to send you [#] ticket(s) and click the link to accept
  2. On the browser window that opens, tap Accept Transfer
  3. Sign In or click Create Account
  4. From a mobile browser only, tap the Add to Wallet icon (access via My Account if downloading separately from accepting the transfer)

**PLEASE NOTE: Transfers are not done through your digital wallet. You must complete the process through a browser via "My Account" after logging in to your ticketing account.
