  • Have your picture taken. (Note: You cannot wear hats or sunglasses for your photo.)
  • Wait a few minutes for your card.

Students

New Card: Any student who is registered for at least one class or attending new student orientation is eligible to receive a Sac State OneCard. Once registered, come into the Bursar's Office, Lassen Hall, Room 1001 to complete an application for your OneCard. You will need to:

  • Know your Sac State Student ID number (not your Social Security Number).
  • Present a valid photo ID (driver license, passport or state ID card).
  • Provide the $15.00 first card fee (cash, check, VISA, MasterCard, Discover Card).

Replacement Card for Current Students: In order for a current student to receive a replacement OneCard, they must be registered for at least one class at Sac State. If they meet this requirement, they can complete an application for a replacement OneCard found in the Bursar's Office. They will also need to present a valid photo ID (driver license, passport, state ID card, etc.) and provide the $15 replacement card fee (cash, check, VISA, MasterCard, Discover Card).

Returning Students: Accounts may be closed when cardholder ceases to be a student or employee of Sac State (see OneCard Policy). Because of this, students who leave the university and are not enrolled for more than one year may be required to pay the new card fee of $15.00. Please visit Bursar's Office in Lassen Hall, Room 1001 or call 916-278-7878 to inquire about a replacement card.
