Hornet Pre-Orientation

This online program is an introduction to Sac State. Topics covered include: advising resources, academics, paying for college, student services, student life, and planning for Orientation. The program includes numerous short videos for you to view. You will need to complete this 30-minute program prior to attending on-campus orientation. The link can be found in your Student Center on the right under Important Links.

Sacramento State Student Orientation Canvas Account

All new students will be added to the Sacramento State Orientation Canvas account. This program contains numerous resources: your academic college and major, pdf student resources, instruction videos, and more. You will want to review prior to Orientation. It’s also a terrific resource during your first semester at Sac State. The Canvas program will be activated 30 days prior to your Orientation session. To access, log into your Student Center and click the Canvas icon.
