APIA Community Research Program
The Asian Pacific Islander American Research & Resource Center (APIARRC) and the Asian American Studies Program are proud to offer the APIA Community Research Program, a one-semester research mentorship opportunity for undergraduate students interested in topics and issues impacting Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) communities.
Through this program, our Scholars will gain hands-on experience in research and writing within a supportive and structured environment. Scholars will:
- Learn about academic research methods and community-based inquiry
- Design and develop their own original research project
- Present their research proposals and findings to the campus and broader community
This program is designed to strengthen students’ research skills, deepen their understanding of AANHPI experiences, and connect them with faculty and community mentors.
