Celebrate the start of Capital Region Small Business Week in community with like-minded small business champions. Organized by StartupSac and the SBA Sacramento District Office
Whether you're a seasoned business owner, an aspiring entrepreneur, or a community leader passionate about small business growth, the Capital Region Small Business Week Expo offers a welcoming space to connect, learn, and thrive together.

1 Million Cups In-person at the Carlsen Center
Our May in-person meetup will be held at the Carlsen Center at Sac State, as part of Capital Region Small Business Week.
1 Million Cups is your go-to destination, offering a supportive and inclusive space where entrepreneurs and their communities come together to connect, tackle business challenges, and explore opportunities. During each weekly event, two early-stage entrepreneurs present insightful 6-minute pitches about their businesses, seeking valuable advice and feedback from their peers.
While we typically meet every Wednesday morning on Zoom from 9 AM to 10 AM, we also host a once-a-month in-person gathering. This month, we're offering a hybrid meeting format, ensuring that those unable to attend in person can still join us via Zoom.
Mentor Sprint - Speedmentoring!
During Capital Region Small Business Week, StartupSac and the Carlsen Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship proudly present Mentor Sprint, scheduled for Wednesday, May 1, from 10:30 AM to Noon.
Mentor Sprint offers early-stage entrepreneurs a unique opportunity to receive expert advice and forge connections with advisors from across the Sacramento region. SpeedMentoring, where entrepreneurs meet with mentors in focused 15-minute sessions. It’s a whirlwind of guidance, networking, and inspiration packed into just 90 minutes!
