College of Health & Human Services Pitch Competition – Fall 2025
Are you passionate about solving real-world problems in health and human services? Do you have an innovative idea that could transform lives? The College of Health and Human Services Committee on Impactful Innovation & Entrepreneurship invites you to our first-ever Pitch Competition!
The competition will take place on Thursday, September 18, 2025. 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM at CARLSEN CENTER FOR INNOVATION & ENTREPRENEURSHIP, LIBRARY 1520
Why Participate in Pitch Competition?
- Present your innovation to industry leaders and faculty
- Gain public speaking and entrepreneurial experience
- Network with professionals, peers, and mentors
- Add real-world impact and creativity to your resume
- Winners represent HHS at University-wide Innovation Competition
Awards
- 1st Place: $500
- 2nd Place: $300
- 3rd Place: $200
The College of Health and Human Services will process check requests for winners after the competition. Please allow 3–4 weeks for payment processing. Winners will need to submit required paperwork to receive their award.

How it Works
- Identify a challenge in health or human services
- Register your idea on the official HHS Pitch Portal
- Use mentoring resources to refine your pitch
- Compete live with a 3–5 minute presentation
