During Global Entrepreneurship Week, powered by Western Health Advantage, we are bringing you Improv to Innovation- An introduction to unlocking the barriers that prevent us from excellence.

​Want to become a more powerful and dynamic communicator? Do you need help with adaptability and responding in the moment? Improv helps leaders break free from conventional patterns and build on each other's ideas. In this one hour workshop, you will be introduced to the core tenant of improv through games and small group activities.

GEW - The Artist's Road Map

As part of Global Entrepreneurship Week, powered by Western Health Advantage, join Art Tonic for an essential business talk designed specifically for BFA and MFA art students at the Carlsen Center. Our one-hour presentation, "The Artist's Road Map," will provide an overview of the different ways you can generate income from your art after graduation. Being an artist isn’t just a creative pursuit; it's a business.

​This talk is for artists who are ready to embrace their role as business owners and learn about the fundamental skills necessary to build a sustainable and successful art career. We will share the basic business skills and resources that will help set you up for success.

​The core of our talk will be exploring diverse revenue streams, from traditional art sales to public art projects, providing you with a high-level overview of each path. While we won't get deep into any single topic, we will provide resources and direct you to where you can find more information.
