About the Center
Welcome to the Community Engagement Center (CEC), the office that oversees experiential learning for Sacramento State.
For 30 years, the CEC has facilitated campus and community partnerships that make a difference in the lives of our students and the Sacramento region by providing opportunities for Community-Engaged Learning, Academic Internships, Community-Engaged Research, and community service.
The CEC collaborates with local non-profits, schools, businesses and government agencies as informed by the Sacramento State's Community Engagement definition.
Our goal is to build long-term, sustainable partnerships that promote experiential learning and community service for Sacramento State students, faculty, staff and alumni.
