The Festival of the Arts, A&L’s signature program, is six days of creative performances, exhibits, guest lectures and master classes, showcasing local and national creative and cultural excellence. The Festival highlights the innovative directions taken in our various disciplines and extends student and community learning and engagement beyond the classroom. U-Create!
April 13 • 5 p.m.–9 p.m. | Verge Center for the Arts
The popular U-Create! returns to downtown Sacramento for the first time since 2019! In partnership with Verge Center for the Arts, this community-based arts and cultural showcase features creative and collaborative projects from teams of students and faculty.
Sunday Funday
April 16 • 11 a.m.–3 p.m. | Sacramento State Campus
Sunday Funday is an opportunity to welcome the community to our campus for a special day of activities for all ages, including games, entertainment, and hands-on projects spread out across the campus.

How do I purchase tickets for events of the Festival of the Arts?
Most of our events are free and don't require tickets! Check with the Festival of the Arts events calendar to verify if an event requires purchase of ticket.
Where is U-Create this year?
The College of Arts & Letters is partnering with Verge Center for the Arts & Axis Gallery for our event this year, and all U-Create activities will be at 625 S Street, Sacramento.
