High School Band Day
The Sacramento State Marching Band 2019 "Band Day" will be held on Saturday, September 14th. Students will have the opportunity to interact with the Sac State Marching Band and School of Music Faculty, perform in the stands with us, and perform at Halftime!
Registration and Music
We will send you PDFs of our Stand Shorts and our Fight Song. We are also asking for a $50 registration fee, made payable to "University Foundation- Sacramento State" and write "x1393" in the memo line.
For Halftime we will be performing "Sweet Caroline", "Uma Thurman", and our school fight song, "Fight Hornet Fight"! Please purchase the following arrangements if you do not already possess these in your library. (In the past we have sent out PDFs of the music, but due to copyright laws we can no longer continue that process.)

Further Details
The exact schedule for the day will come out closer to the event, but typically begins with rehearsal around Noon, a dinner/changing break before the 6:00pm football game, and our halftime performance around 7:30pm. Bands may elect to stay for the entire game, or depart after halftime.
Lunch and dinner are on your own - our Student Union has limited selections open on weekends. There are multiple food trucks within the stadium during the game selling typical game day fare during the game (participating groups in the past have served their own lunch out in the parking lot and allowed their members to go visit the food trucks during the 3rd quarter of the game; this is up to the discretion of the band's director).
