TAKE A SEAT

A Campaign for the University Theatre

Sacramento State is on a mission to upgrade our performing arts facilities. With great enthusiasm, we invite you to play a leading role!

As an “anchor institution” in Sacramento, our public performance spaces need to reflect our commitment to connecting our students, faculty, and staff with the community as we build relationships, understanding, and empathy. Such experiences help foster creative solutions for long-term problems and inequities. The University Theatre serves hundreds of Sacramento State students, as well as the community. It is not only a performance venue, it serves as a classroom, lab space, ceremony space, lecture hall as well as a site for community youth conferences, trainings, and ceremonial gatherings. By sponsoring a seat, you are providing a better experience for everyone!

A University Theatre seat, inscribed with your name, a loved one’s name, your business, or in memoriam, creates a lasting legacy. Your tax-deductible contribution to name a seat will be celebrated by family, friends, peers and the community.
