Federal student loans are available to most students regardless of income and provide a range of repayment options, including loan forgiveness benefits, which private educational loans are not required to provide. You can find more information here.

Employer Financial Support
As a working professional pursuing a graduate degree, having your employer’s support can make a significant difference. This backing often extends beyond monetary aid; employers may offer paid leave for school assignments and experiential learning, flexible or remote work schedules, or the opportunity to serve in real-world roles directly related to your studies.
Support levels can range from full tuition sponsorship to partial funding via a professional development budget to covering individual courses.
If you're aiming to further your education while on the job, gaining employer support can streamline the process significantly. Such support often includes:
- Partial or full funding for your graduate education
- Paid time off to complete academic projects
- Remote work options for classes or campus visits
- Alternate work schedules to accommodate academic commitments
- On-the-job experiential learning opportunities
Inquire with your employer today to determine if you are eligible for any financial support or tuition reimbursement to pursue your MBA at Sacramento State.
Employee Fee Waiver & Reduction Program
As a Sacramento State employee, you may be eligible for a fee waiver to pursue your MBA. Eligibility depends on your bargaining unit and other factors. For more information, connect with your bargaining unit or visit the Human Resources page to learn more about your eligibility.
