Hats Off to Partners

About the event

Hats Off to Partners is an invitation-only event celebrating the joint work of preparing educators.

The College of Education invites partners throughout the education community to an evening of celebration for the partners who work to prepare future generations of educators. We invite our partners from the many strands of education to come together and celebrate the collaboration required to train the educators of our community. Our partners span the breadth of Early Childhood Education, Elementary School, Junior/Senior High School, District/County, and Community groups.

Annually, we invite an honored guest to deliver the Dr. Juliana Raskauskas Legacy Lecture, honoring scholarship and research in the area of social justice.

Each year the college invites our partners who collaborate in preparing educators to attend the Hats Off to Partners event—sharing food and connection with fellow mentors. We take this time to recognize the profound impact mentorship has on the development and success of educators.

We tip our hats to all of the partners, mentors, and educators who work tirelessly to educate our youth. Hats off to you!

Dr. Juliana Raskauskas Legacy Lecture

The Dr. Juliana Raskauskas Legacy Lecture highlights scholarship within Social Justice. Each year we invite a scholar with exceptional work in the arena of social justice to share their insights with our group of education partners.
