Health Hive: Enhancing Well-Bee-ing

The College of Health and Human Services' Health Hive is committed to providing community-based services to reduce health inequities and promote health and well-being in the local and greater Sacramento Region. The Health Hive is a mobile team of students, staff, and faculty who offer a variety of health care and community support services.

Examples of services the Health Hive team can offer include:

  • Immunizations
  • TB testing
  • Hearing, speech and language, blood pressure, and diabetes screenings
  • Physical Activities, Fitness Screening or Assessments, Sport & Recreation Lessons
  • Information about domestic violence/interpersonal violence, sexual harm, and human trafficking including community resources
  • Foot care
  • Childhood literacy events
  • Information about available community supports and resources available, assistance navigating benefit forms, and health and human services navigation
  • Community listening sessions
  • Information, presentations, and resources on variety of health/mental health topics
  • And more!
