April 2: Farmworkers Awareness Week Panel: Care as a form of Resistance
Join us on April 2nd at 12:30, to discuss how farmworker communities mobilize care as a form of collective resistance, exploring the intersections of labor activism, structural trauma, and healing practices that sustain movement-building in the face of ongoing exploitation and dispossession.
Please bring a can of food to donate to the 2026 Farmworker Awareness Week Canned Food Drive.*Refreshments will be provided.

This year as part of the end of year celebration, the Sociology Alumni Network is collaborating with the Sociology Department and community partners to host a panel discussion on Care Work in the Community. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore career pathways and internship opportunities with sociology alumni and community organizations.
