Ballot Drop Box and Vote Center

Sac State Ballot Drop Box

Drop Box Location:

While each county in California conducts its own elections, we are excited that voters who choose not to mail their ballot in, can use a Sacramento County Department of Voter Registration and Elections Ballot Drop Box that will be located at the front entrance of the Welcome Center (located next to Parking Structure 5).

The drop box will be available during normal business hours through Election Day on November 5, 2024.

Sacramento State will also again host a Vote Center on campus at Modoc Hall, Willow Suites 1-3. It will be open for the three days prior to the election and on Election Day. Any registered voter in Sacramento County can vote there in person or drop off their completed ballot.

Vote Center Hours:

  • Saturday, Nov. 2 from 6:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
  • Sunday, Nov. 3 from 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.

  • Monday, Nov. 4 from 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.

  • Tuesday, Nov. 5 (Election Day) from 6 a.m. - 8 p.m.

Modoc Hall's address is 3020 State University Drive, Sacramento, CA 95819.
