Ballot Drop Box Availability in Sacramento County:

Ballot drop boxes across Sacramento County will be accessible during regular business hours from May 4 through Election Day, Tuesday, June 2, 2026.

Sacramento State is hosting a ballot box at the Welcome Center for the June and November 2026 elections.

Ballo Box hours at the Welcome Center:

  • Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • June 1 - 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
  • June 2 - 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. - Election Day

The ballot box is available until election day, June 2, 2026

Sac State Vote Center

Vote Center Location:

Sacramento State will host a Vote Center on campus at Modoc Hall, Willow Suites for the June 2 and November 3, 2026 elections. The Vote Center, operated by Sacramento County’s Department of Voter Registration and Elections, replaces the traditional Election Day-only polling places. It will be open for the three days prior to the election and on Election Day. Any registered voter in Sacramento County can vote there in person or drop off their completed ballot.

Vote Center Hours:

  • June 2 Election

    • Saturday, May 30 - 6:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
    • Sunday, May 31 - 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
    • Monday, June 1 - 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
    • Tuesday, June 2 - 6:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. - Election Day
  • November 3 Election

    • Saturday, October 31 - 6:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
    • Sunday, November 1 - 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
    • Monday, November 2 - 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
    • Tuesday, November 3 - 6:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. - Election Day
