If you would like to request a free sustainability tour, please:
Email sustainability@csus.edu with your desired day, time and number of participants.
Select tour 1 or 2 from the descriptions below. If you would like a customized tour, please let us know what your time constraints are, and which features you would like to see.

Youth Protection Program Registration Form

Tour 1: Sustainability Campus Tour

This tour lasts 1.5 to 2 hours and includes 2 miles of walking, with stops at more than 20 points of interest across campus. Highlights include the BAC Yard, the CapRadio Garden, various solar arrays, low-impact development sites and multiple LEED certified buildings, including the Tschannen Science Complex.

Tour 2: BAC Yard & Garden Tour

This tour lasts 45 minutes to 1 hour and includes a half mile of walking. The tour features an in-depth discussion of all processes at the CapRadio Garden and BAC Yard composting facility. Highlights include food production at the garden, aquaponics, Hornet Honey, the tiny house, campus composting, and our Chomp anaerobic digester.
