Research Interests

My research leverages Artificial Intelligence to solve complex challenges in respect to real-world scenarios involving knowledge extraction, decision-making, and data-driven health innovation. Precisely, my research work centers on Pattern Recognition, Natural Language Processing, and Social Network Analysis. Currently, open research topics of interest to me include Trend and Pattern Discovery, Sentiment and Opinion Mining, Machine Translation, Event-based Analytics, Multilayer Network Modeling, Explainable and Responsible Artificial Intelligence. Broadly, my research focuses on developing robust Machine Learning and efficient Deep Learning methods for the analysis of large-scale and heterogeneous data. The goal is to uncover relevant insights that can aid in addressing both open research questions and real-world challenges in diverse domains.
