About ASRL
Welcome to the Autonomous Systems and Robotics Lab (ASRL) in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering within the College of Engineering and Computer Science at California State University, Sacramento. Our lab is dedicated to advancing research and innovation in autonomous systems, robotics, intelligent control, embedded artificial intelligence, and cyber-physical systems.
At ASRL, students and researchers collaborate on cutting-edge projects involving autonomous robots, embedded systems, multi-agent coordination, and AI-driven decision-making. Through hands-on experimentation, interdisciplinary research, and industry- and government-supported initiatives, our mission is to develop intelligent technologies that address real-world engineering challenges.
We are committed to fostering student success, innovation, and collaborative learning while preparing the next generation of engineers and researchers in robotics and autonomous systems.
ASRL was established through support from the U.S. Department of Defense to advance research and education in autonomous systems, robotics, and cyber security.
