Components

Apply for College (CSU Apply)

Students learn about the process of applying to college and receive one-on-one assistance with the California State University (CSU) admission application. Sacramento State admissions counselors offer individualized guidance and support. Current high school seniors and community college students looking to transfer can apply to any of the 23 California State Universities. Students are encouraged to bring their transcript(s).

Apply for Financial Aid (Cash for College)

One-on-one assistance with completing a financial aid application (FAFSA or California Dream Act). Individual help sessions are offered by volunteer counselors from the California Student Aid Commission (CSAC) and financial aid experts from Sacramento State and Los Rios Community College District. Available to high school and transfer students, parents are welcome to join.

Educational Pathway

A central hub where students can obtain information on colleges and universities in California and community resources in the Sacramento region. College/university representatives are available to provide information and answer questions.

Career & Financial Wellness Zone

Provides workshops, activities, and guidance for career decisions, including exposure to career fields and in-demand careers, technology, and financial wellness resources.

Dreamer Clinic

For undocumented students and students from mixed-immigration status families. Students can connect with representatives from Dream Centers and Undocu-Resource Programs from Northern California campuses. The clinic also includes a workshop on options for undocumented students to attend college.

Transfer Corner

Helps community college students prepare to transfer to a university. Includes one-on-one meetings with transfer advisors, campus resources, and exhibitors from student life and student services at Sacramento State.
