Supporting multi-media and AI literacy in teaching and learning, the CSU's Adobe 4 All partnership has provided free, licensed access to Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe CC) and Adobe Express to current faculty, staff, and students* on either a university-managed or personal device.
New! Licensing is now boosted to the Adobe Creative Cloud Pro Plus for Education plan that offers pro versions of current apps and newly added AI generative tools.

Who Can Use Adobe CC Pro Plus?
All current Sacramento State faculty, staff, and students have free (covered license) access to Adobe CC Pro Plus and Adobe Express.

Adobe CC Pro Plus access is currently not available for Sacramento State auxiliary, alumni, or emeritus, but can be requested for the following individuals:
- Auxiliary organizations (subject to charge back)
- Positional/Generic accounts (subject to verified University affiliation)

Using Adobe CC Pro Plus - either in a personal or with the free Sac State account access - is completely optional. But it's a great opportunity to level-up your skills in these industry-leading digital and AI-generated tools - like Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro - skills which are increasingly in demand across academic and business applications.
No problem! If you already have a personal Adobe CC account - even if you used your @csus.edu address - you'll still be able to use the free CSU-licensed version. At login you'll have a choice on which account you'd like to log into.
No. Work in your personal Adobe CC (or Pro Plus) account will remain part of your personal plan and separate from your Sac State Adobe CC Pro Plus account should you choose to use it.
Licensed access is contingent upon your current status as a Hornet. You would need to export any files or information prior to leaving the university, as access will no longer continue after your departure (graduation, separation from employment).
