Accessible Technology Initiative (ATI) Steering Committee

The ATI Steering Committee serves as a governance group and principal adviser to campus regarding accessible technology issues and guidelines for compliance. They report to the President's Cabinet through the IRT Vice President & CIO and Vice President for Inclusive Excellence & UDO.

Committee Responsibilities

  • The ATI Steering Committee advises the VP of IRT on the methods and means for ensuring the accessibility of information technology and resources as a process for continuous improvement involving a multi-year, phased approach.
  • The ATI Steering Committee oversees the following ATI Working Groups:
    • Web
    • Instructional Materials/Universal Design for Learning
    • IT Procurement

Meeting Schedule

The ATI Steering Committee convenes twice per year. The chair will facilitate and schedule the meetings.

ATI Reports

Annually, IRT and IRT's Academic Technology Services teams prepare a presidential ATI summary report highlighting Sacramento State's progress and performance within CSU accessibility standards.
