IT Project Governance

Reporting to the Information Resources & Technology (IRT) VP & CIO, the IT Project Governance Group ensures strategic oversight over the campus technology project prioritization process.

This group helps prioritize strategic and operational campus technology projects based on a number of factors including:

Alignment with campus goals and objectives
Resource allocation
Budget considerations

There are three levels of governance to foster collaboration, accountability and transparency: executive, strategic, and operational.

Enable the project team(s) to deliver on requirements and creates a forum for assessing and monitoring project performance
Provide strategic direction and guidance to project implementations
Facilitate collaboration and communication across campus
Forward recommendations to Cabinet
