Université Laval, Canada

Université Laval is the oldest French-language university and the second oldest university in North America. It is located in Quebec City, the capital of the province of Quebec. The study abroad program is with the Facultyé des sciences de l'administration (Business Administration Faculty), allowing participants to study Business and the French language in a bilingual setting filled with extraordinary culture and history. Those who choose to study the French language intensively may do so from the beginning through advanced level course offerings.

Academic Eligibility

  • 2.75 GPA or higher at the time of application
  • One semester completed at Sacramento State
  • Junior or Senior standing (60+ units completed)

Course Information

Available Courses

Students with strong French language abilities are able to take coursework in taught in French. A maximum of two courses may be taken outside the business school. Most courses outside of the business school will be taught in French and students will need to provide evidence of French language ability.

Université Laval's Student Housing Services lease 2,300 rooms in three coed buildings and one reserved for women only.

Students interested in living on campus should apply for housing as soon as possible.
