Western University, Canada

Western University was founded in 1878 and is one of Canada’s oldest and most beautiful universities enrolling today about 38,000 undergraduate and graduate students. Western is located in London, Ontario, which is a two-hour train ride west of Toronto. Known affectionately as the Forest City, London boasts a beautiful urban canopy and more than 200 parks and greenspaces.

The city's laid-back atmosphere is highlighted by an extensive trail system that runs along the Thames River, right onto Western’s campus, and is a scenic place for walking, running, biking, or inline skating. London is set in the heart of Southwestern Ontario and experiences four distinct seasons, ranging from hot, breezy summers to colorful autumns to crisp, snowy winters to refreshing springs. Sac State's partnership with Western offers a wide and varied range of academic fields for students to choose from.
