Someone WILL answer after a couple rings or several, depending on how busy the dispatchers are at the time. Let the dispatcher know where to meet you and your destination. Please wait for the dispatcher to give you an estimated time of arrival. Our service will arrive (either in a car or an on foot Community Service Officer [CSO]) at the specified location.

The Hornet Safety Escort is not a shuttle service and does not service any other off-campus locations.

Hours of Operation

• Campus Police officers and Community Service Officers (CSO) are available year-round, 24/7.
• UTAPS assists with the Hornet Safety Escort Monday through Thursday, from 6:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. with the last pick up at 11:50p.m. only during the Fall and Spring academic semesters, not during intersessions, breaks or closures.
