Revised 03-03-2026

Performance Evaluation Timeframes

  • MPP employees shall be evaluated after their initial six (6) months, then again after their 12th month, then annually during the annual performance evaluation cycle.
NOTE: The MPP annual performance evaluation cycle is now 7/1-6/30, which is the same cycle as the Staff annual performance evaluation cycle to minimize confusion.
  • Permanent staff are normally evaluated annually during the annual performance evaluation cycle.
  • Probationary employees are evaluated as outlined in their respective MOUs.
  • Temporary/Intermittent employees are evaluated on at least an annual basis, normally during the annual performance evaluation cycle. Evaluations of temporary/intermittent employees may also occur at the end of an appointment period. Employees may be evaluated at times other than the minimum when there is a reason to do so — work with ELR on cases like this.
