About the PRIDE Center
The PRIDE Center provides students looking for a connection to campus with programs and events, access to resources on campus and in the community, a welcoming hangout space, and opportunities for education about LGBTQIA communities and the intersections of many identities and experiences.
We exist to create and maintain a campus environment that is open, safe, and supportive of student diversity in the areas of sexual orientation and gender identity/expression.
The PRIDE Center is located in the University Union on the first floor (next to Round Table).

Land Acknowledgment
Sacramento State’s Strategic Student Support Programs give honor and respect to the Native ancestors that cultivated the land and to the Black and Brown Indigenous labor connected to this territory on which we gather. Our campus operates on the traditional and ancestral homelands of the Miwok, Wintu, Maidu, Nisenan, and Patwin Native peoples and sustains itself by the hands of past and present African, Asian, and Latinx indigenous labor. Recognizing their culture that is rich with spiritual ties to the land and waters, we celebrate the importance of acknowledging the original stewards of the land and ask that we consider our ancestors and our relationship to the land we are on.
