Athletics Black History Month Spotlight
Black Excellence/Equity and Inclusion Days. For both of these games, the Black Alumni Chapter of the Alumni Association and the MLK Center will be tabling while the NPHC will be performing a stroll-off at halftime. The Equity and Inclusion Day is a national campaign with the Rising Coaches Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Alliance to keep the fight for equality in the national spotlight.

The Black History Month Business Pitch Competition
The Black History Month Business Pitch Competition will award cash prizes to three emerging Black-owned businesses in the Sacramento area who pitch their business to a panel of judges.
First prize: $1,500
Second prize: $1,000
Third prize: $500

The competition will be followed by a Business Mixer, a chance to mingle with other business owners, entrepreneurs, and vendors from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.

Jackie Morris-Henderson Scholarship: $800 (multiple awards)
Chapter Empowerment Scholarship: $1,500 (one award)
