Reporting Misconduct

Any member of the community may report a student for violating Sacramento State policy. The Office of Student Conduct will review and determine if an investigation is warranted prior to charging any student in the disciplinary process. Federal law, California law, and CSU policy dictate (and often strictly limit) what information is shared back with a reporter about conduct records.

A written concern may be submitted by email to Reports should include the following information, if available:

  • The name, title, and contact information of the reporter
  • The name and contact information of the students involved
  • A written description of the incident
  • Any supporting documentation
