Graduating Students' First Destination Survey

At Sacramento State, first destination data is collected using the First Destination Survey (FDS) standardized by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) as a vehicle for the collection of information about plans at the time of graduation—including plans for further education or seeking employment.

For students and recent alumni seeking employment, Career Center services are still available to alumni at no cost. Stop by the Career Center in Lassen Hall 1013 or The Career Center Website for more career help.

The Office of Institutional Research, Effectiveness, and Planning handles the administration of the First Destination survey. The survey is administered to graduating students through email outreach in the semester they graduate. If you have any questions regarding this survey, please contact OIREP by email or call 916-278-6566.

For more information about the First Destination Survey see the National Association of Colleges & Employers (NACE).
