What is TimelyCare?

Your 24/7 365 care partner, designed for college life.
TimelyCare gives you easy, virtual access to licensed providers who understand student life. Whether it’s Saturday evening or 2 a.m. on a Tuesday — whenever you need to talk, check in, or get help managing your health, TimelyCare is here for you.

You can use Timelcare for help with:

  • Feeling sick or experiencing a minor illness
  • Stress, anxiety, or relationship challenges
  • Help with sleep, focus, or test anxiety
  • Nutrition annd overall wellness support

Free services for all currently enrolled Sac State students:

Offers immediate access to TimelyCare’s Self-Care library with self-guided wellness content covering a variety of health topics, including:

  • Self-Care Journeys: These structured, self-paced programs are composed of videos, articles, and slides to help students work through specific challenges like managing anxiety, stress, or academic struggles.
  • Meditation and yoga sessions: Users can access guided mindfulness and movement sessions to reduce stress and improve focus.
  • Expert videos and articles: The library includes short, informational videos and articles created by health experts on topics such as sleep habits, healthy eating, and relationships.
  • Peer Community: This feature provides an anonymous and moderated forum for students to connect with others facing similar experiences in a safe and judgment-free space.

Who can use TimelyCare?

All currently enrolled Sac State students. All you need is your Sac State email to register. No cost, no insurance required.

When is TimelyCare available?

TimelyCare is available any time our on-campus services are closed, including on weekends and during breaks when the campus is closed. Student Health, Counseling, and Wellness Services (SHCWS) established business hours are:

Monday - Thursday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Friday: 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Is There Faculty and Staff Support?

Yes!

Faculty and staff can also access TimelyCare Faculty Support, a free, confidential service that helps you respond to students who may be struggling.

Call 833-4-TIMELY (ext. 2) for guidance on how to connect a student with the right help.
