Important Dates for Fall & Spring

Spring 2027
| June 2026 | Spring 2027 Course Schedule available via My Sac State |
| November 9, 2026 | Spring 2027 registration appointments viewable in the Student Center |
| November 16, 2026 | Spring 2027 Continuing Student Registration Begins (by assigned registration appointment) |
| January 18, 2027 | Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (Holiday, Campus Closed) |
| January 20-22, 2027 | University-wide and/or College Meetings |
| January 24, 2027 | Spring 2027 Course waitlists eliminated. When waitlists are deleted, you will no longer see waitlisted courses in the Student Center. Students should retain course and instructor information for any waitlisted class(es) to "crash" the course. Spring 2027 Deadline to withdraw & receive a full refund of fees (Semester Withdrawal Form must be submitted) |
| January 25, 2027 | Spring 2027 Instruction Begins (Welcome Back!) |
| January 25 - February 5, 2027 | Spring 2027 Late Registration and Schedule Adjustment. During this time, students have access to add and drop courses through their Student Center. If instructor or department permission is required to add or drop a course, the Add/Drop Petition (OnBase form) must be used. If adding from 0 units, must prepay. |
| February 6-19, 2027 | Spring 2027 Late Registration and Schedule Adjustment completed by Add/Drop petition (OnBase form) at departments. If adding from 0 units, must prepay. |
| February 19, 2027 | Spring 2027 Census Date (Enrollment Locks) - Last day to drop a class without receiving a "W" |
| March 22-26, 2027 | 🌷Spring Break (Students and Faculty only) |
| March 31, 2027 | Farmworkers Day Observed (Holiday, Campus Closed) |
| April 23, 2027 | Last day to withdraw from Spring 2027 courses |
| May 14, 2027 | Last Day of Instruction! |
