Leadership Awards

The SO&L Leadership Awards & Reception is an annual celebration recognizing the outstanding achievements of student leaders, organizations, and faculty/staff advisors. Hosted in partnership with the Office of the Dean of Students and University Housing Services, this event highlights the impact of leadership and service within the campus community.

Awards presented include Student Leader of the Year, Faculty/Staff Advisor of the Year, and Organization of the Year. In addition, students from the "Hornets Who Lead: Empowering Leaders in the CAMPus Community" program, a collaboration with the College Assistance Migrant Program, will be recognized for their leadership development. The Office of the Dean of Students also honors recipients of The Dean’s Award, given annually to undergraduate students graduating with honors from each college.

The reception features musical entertainment, light hors d’oeuvres, and refreshments as award nominees and winners are celebrated for their contributions to campus life.
