Workshops 

Nuts & Bolts workshops are in-person and open until all seats are filled. You will need to stay for the full duration of the one-hour training in order to receive credit. We will not be able to accept late attendees once the workshop has begun, nor can folks leave early. Following the workshop, SO&L staff will stay on for an extra 30 minutes to provide CampusGroups support for any student leaders who need it. Please note this post-workshop support is optional and open to any student leaders who need extra help submitting Organization Registration materials. If you require ASL/English Interpreters or Closed Captions to attend this event, please email event host at getinvolved@csus.edu 10 days ahead of event.

IN FALL

All Presidents and Treasurers must complete the workshop. Up to other 3 additional officers may also attend for each club and receive officer designation with the campus which allows them the ability to conduct business on behalf of their club. The workshop is valid for the academic year.

All clubs in good standing at the end of Spring will go through Fall renewal which must be completed by September 30th. Clubs with ineligible officers from the previous year are placed on suspended status and should work to update their registration as soon as possible, though also no later than September 30th. New clubs or clubs returning from inactivity have until October 15th to complete the recognition process.

IN SPRING

All newly elected Presidents, Treasurers, and other Officers (see above) must complete the workshop and update their recognition. Any new clubs interested in establishing have until March 15th.

New or Late Renewal Dates

New clubs or those returning from inactivity have until October 15th in Fall and March 15th in Spring to be approved so these sessions, on top of the ones above, are an option to attend. If you are a current club that missed the renewal deadline (Sept 30th for Fall or March 1st for Spring), please email your SO&L advisor to request to submit a late renewal registration. You will have to complete the late renewal process outlined in the Student Org Handbook. These workshops are added at a later date.
