The First Year Experience Space

The FYE Space is a designated academic location for all first year college students. Students use this space to study, do group projects, or connect with a mentor. Workshops on leadership, campus resources, professional development, and many other skills are held in the Space throughout the semester.

  • Students come to the FYE Space to receive help with adding/dropping courses, registration, have a place to study, learn about how to get involved on campus, or ask questions about college in general.
  • We offer free scantrons, study supplies, open study areas, private study areas, workshops, and more!
  • You can read the FYE Reader here.
  • Our Go-to-Crew Mentors and Peer Mentors are always available to help with any questions you may have.

Hybrid Operations

The FYE Space will be offering all services in-person and virtually in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

We want to assist first-year students during this time of transition. Do not hesitate to contact us with any questions.

  1. Workshops: Students can RSVP to attend Workshops. We will be sending Zoom Session links to those who RSVP using the calendar.
  2. Mentoring: Students can book mentoring appointments with the Go-To Crew via EAB. Go-to Crew mentors will send students a Zoom link.
  3. Drop-ins: Students who have questions can visit us in-person!

The Go-To Crew

In addition to walk-ins, the First Year Experience Program offers the opportunity to regularly meet one-on-one with the Go-To Crew Mentors in the First Year Experience Space.
