About the Benefits Office
The CSU offers eligible employees a comprehensive benefits package including health plans, retirement plans, tuition reduction, disability leave options, and other benefit programs.
This website is intended to assist you with finding information and resources as you need it. We realize that making benefit choices and navigating the details of benefit coverage can be challenging. In these pages we have provided to you the information you need to make the best coverage choices and to access information needed to manage your plan after you have made those choices. Some of our links will take you to the CSU Systemwide Benefits webpage at the Chancellor’s Office for the most up-do-date program information.
At Sacramento State, the Benefits Office is responsible for benefit administration, disability leaves, fee waiver and reduction, and retirement processing for all eligible employees. The Benefits Office is governed by federal, state, and CSU-specific laws, policies and procedures, and CSU Collective Bargaining Agreements. Important benefit related information will always be communicated to the campus community in a timely fashion.

To schedule an appointment or request to drop off forms outside of public service hours, please e-mail the Benefits Office at benefits@csus.edu or contact your appropriate Benefits Office representative directly.
Most forms can be submitted electronically via MOVEit. Employees who have signed up for Two-Step Verification with Duo may securely submit Benefits related documents via the Secure Data Transfer service, MOVEit. Information about getting started with MOVEit can be found online at https://csyou.calstate.edu/Tools/IT-Services/ITSupport/Pages/Secure-Data-Transfer-with-MOVEit.aspx. Documents can be submitted via MOVEit to Luis Diaz, Benefits Coordinator, at luis.diaz@csus.edu.
