Employment Verifications
Verification requests (banks, mortgage lenders, or other 3rd party vendors) are provided by The Work Number, a Human Resources service partner, to provide secure online access to employment and income information.
The verifier will be required to register and obtain a login for The Work Number website.
California State University, Sacramento employer code is 33183.
Employment data is uploaded weekly. Employment Status is current as of Verification Date Pulled. Payroll data is current as of the employee's last pay date. Payroll data only uploaded monthly based on the payroll processing timeframe for the CSU.

Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) - Employment Certification
The PSLF Program allows eligible borrowers to qualify for forgiveness of the remaining balance of certain student loans. More program information is available on the Department of Education's Federal Student Aid website and the CSUS Financial Wellness website.
The PSLF Help Tool outlines how to fill out and submit the PSLF form electronically. Please use the sacstatehumanresources@csus.edu for the authorized official email address needed to complete the form.
